exactly 3 weeks of using this product today

dosing at the low nutrient system level of 5ml per 100 gallons
I have been using 3mls of the bio fuel daily for 21 days now

    findings thus far
there has been a decline in the growth rate of the micro algae
there have been no negative side effects as yet, of other algae blooms or cyno
the water looks clearer ( minus the activity of 2 wrasse , especially the Leapord who enjoys hunting in the sand bed every so often and thus periodic marine snow is generated in my tank - on the positive side my LPS seem to enjoy this)

despite taking image earlier in this thread to act as a reference in order to show the reduced green on rock work - I find myself unable to locate the exact spot I photographed at that time LOL

Im going to continue using until the contents of this bottle are used up
which based on usage = 250mils divide by 3 = 83 days total use , so another 60 days worth in the bottle

Your rockwork does look far cleaner than it did previously. That's a good thing. :)

    Thank you Reef Sparky
your right, in addition to aesthetics, it also means coraline can start developing on those rocks, and already small circles are starting to appear
whilst the algae is there, this prevents the coralines development

    Thank you Curtis

not going to suggest this product as a cure all for major nutrient issues
as there are some more basic methods to achieve that and certainly more appropriate husbandry techniques should be employed 1st

but as a fine tune up in an already low nutrient system
this product may just provide the final polish .

now starting work on putting nutrients back into the water in order my corals dont starve to death

Zooplankton M is my latest Brightwell Aquatics product, and it seems to be appreciated by LPS and SPS corals ( feeder tentacles LPS, and polyp extension SPS being the tell tale for me)

    Update on this thread

still continuing to use the bio fuel at half stated dose for tank volume
3mls per day using the water collection syringe from a Red Sea test kit

discontinued use of MB7 on daily basis, but have dosed 5ml on each occasion I made new introductions over last couple of weeks

coraline is now really kicking in, helped due to the daily dosing of Calcium and nightly dosing for Alkalinity ( currently having to dose to compensate for usage of 10ppm Calcium and 0.25 degrees of DKH daily)

current parameters are Ca - 440, DKH 9.6, Mag 1430 (Salifert)
    - Nitrate and phosphate both at 0 (Red Sea and Salifert tests kits as double check)

algae is not an issue at present, my CUC take care of everything

front glass needs cleaning once per week (twice if I want to take pictures mid week)

more reviews of other Brightwell Aquatic products will follow.

i have not used the biofuel but LOVE the zooplankton-m. Also the amino omega is a great product as food supplement. I did pick up a bottle of the biofuel and considering starting to dose it
