bright green algae

    i have this bright green algae growing on my LR. I don't know if it's normal green algae or what. It's like floursent green.

    i noticed some in my tank too recently when i raised my alk a bit with an already high Calc level. it is hard to the touch on my LR and have been told it is probably coaline alge. is yours easy to rub off or hard?
