Kevin3884 well i just noticed my peppermint shrimp molted.

 

a molt shouldnt cause nitrites tho :-/.....u sure its a molt?...lol

 

The shrimp molting will have no affect on the corals, it's good to get the molt out though.

 

Understand about the molt:

The CuC is on it ....LOl

 

I think it is possible that the snails are knocking the coral over since it ha been loose i have the CorAffix gel i will use.

 

Guys it was a molt....lol The peppermint shrimp is alive and well with his pincers in place and the CuC is on it ....LMAO

I will however get a better testing kit suggestion's welcome ...Ty guys

Those strips are literally useless. I took four strips, tested both my tanks, fresh saltwater, and RODI and got the same color readings on all four except for hardness on the RODI. Look into getting a master tester kit that includes the major water parameters ;-)

 

ingtar_shinowa i agree after all the work must have the best test kit available.
