    read through most of this thread and you are impressive in terms of your research and the way you've gone about your tank....just wanted to say that AND the goby and pistol are too cool

    Thanx guys. I actually bought this tank for it to be freshwater. After getting it home and seeing pics of SW tanks, I decided to go for it. Bought the tank last February and put fish in it in late August. I know that seems like forever, but I really did take my time and study and buy things slow.

    I'm with ya there, I started my tank back in January 2012 and I didn't add my first fish until June/July so I'm all about taking your time.

    Again nice work on the research and the build :thumb_up:

    I put in the new fixture last night. I have to admit, the new lights are super bright. I went ahead and programmed the final schedule for them. If I should just manually run for now, please let me know. I may have a few decent pics here. It was hard to get a good angle with the iPhone. I'll try to get a full tank shot today. These are with the moonlight LEDs, 2 blue+, and 1 actinic. The purple+ hasn't come in yet.
