    he's on a base type thing, so i woudln't worry about it tearing it or damaging it. but I'll just move him out in the middle of the sand bed.. do a water change.. spot feed him, might as well try.

    :confused: Without even seeing a picture of the coral, I'm not sure how you can guaranty anything at this point. It could very possibly recover. It's not impossible.

    good luck - did you get some GFO for the phosphate issue?

    thanks tank! I haven't had the chance to get any GFO yet, I will do a water change tonight hopefully and I put some carbon in yesterday... I need to work on that, but today I get done with school at three, go to work at 4 and get off at nine. Everything will be closed by then :/ i'll do the best with what I got I guess

    Sorry, I missed the post. Either way, I don't think it's a complete goner. The parts that have died off won't come back but that doesn't mean that the entire coral is done for.

    I moved him into the open sand bed. The rest of him is lookin okay.. we'll see how it goes and how he looks when I get home.

    Good luck and keep us updated - try to feed him tonight with the powerheads off

    thnx i'll try to do that when I get home., sounds like a good idea. whats the best way to spot feed a coral like that?
