brain coral growth and skeleton questions

    One month update... it looks like it's trying to reclaim the old skeleton. It's been eating like a PIG lately. I feed it almost daily and it loves it.
    There's a bit of sand due to me just moving it as the back normally faces the back of the tank.

    It actually does look like it's advancing a little. Looks like you're turning it around. Again with the sand?!? Haha, you brought it up. That's just what happens with that fine sand. It looks nice, but it's a royal PITA.

    Lol yeah. PITA. I just can't wait for it to cover the vertical skeleton. Think another 2 months?

    That's hard to say, but the new growth is a really good sign, Good job!

    I had fine sand in my Queen Trigger tank. It was always getting stirred up, and the super fine stuff found it's way into the sump over time and burned out a $200+ pump. I siphoned it all out before the new pump went in.

    It eats small sections of shrimp... Not mysis... Lol. Like I said, eats like a pig.
