    did you have it on the rocks before? that can be irritating for a brain coral. they prefer the sand. im not sure about the skeleton though, never seen one disconnect before. a pic would help.

    I did have it low in the tank on a rock. I'd really like to get it back in the DT if it has a chance, but with the missing skeleton I don't know what to do. Here's a pic. It's grainy, but the skeleton is at the very bottom of the pic.

    im sorry to say, that coral looks like its not going to make it.

    aarrgggghhh. someone then needs to give me permission to pull it out of the water. I don't have the heart to do it on my own. I'm so bummed. Lesson learned though. Vigilance on tank maintenance. On a better note. My sebae anenome has quadrupled in size since I've gotten it, my mushrooms are reproducing and the xenia are going like crazy. AND, my gfo is working magic on my tank. The gha is 90 percent gone!
