    Both seem to have a great construction and quality. These are going on my ten, so it's going to be the main and only lighting. Do you see a problem with that? Yeah, I wonder why such a price difference.

    on your 10 id go with two.... 3 would be a bit much on a 10

    3 will be too much. It all depends on what you want to grow and the degrees of the lens will give you a wide or a more focus light. I have a BoostLED thread that shows in detail on my 29gal with just 2 of them.

    i am using 8 on my 75 gallon but my 20 gallon can only stand 2 bulbs a 10 gallon with 3 bulbs would be riduculas bright and would be way to much IMO. john can you post the link with the thread?

    I have made a decision and I think I am going to go with two boostled bulbs. They may not be as powerful as the other, but they will do the trick. :) Thanks everybody for the ideas and suggestions. Later down the road if I want the other bulbs, I guess i'll just have to build another tank! :p
