Bleaching montipora digitata?

    Hey all, thanks for the replys.

    J : I knew the whitter tips were cause of growth, i placed it way up top and its getting some good flow.

    rickzter : i noticed it when i got home from the LFS, i didnt really get a close look at it while i was there and since it was free i chose that frag and didnt bother looking at it like i would do a piece i would buy

    but after taking a closer look and a better pic i really think its just some bleaching.

    If it's just bleaching, leave it alone. If you notice the white area start to spread or if flesh starts to peel away from the coral, you might want to start fragging it.

    I', with Amcarrig- it may just take care of itself- you may try lowering it in the tank though and slowly working it up into max lighting I've heard this can sometimes help.

    It was under MH at the LFS and i only have PC's on my tank. I think i have enough light but just to be sure ill keep him up top for now.
