bleached coral

    Should i target feed it heavily? i am assuming that since it has expelled its zooxanthellae (sp?), its only nourishment will come from what it can grab from the water.

    Target feed it as if it were not bleached. I would also contact LA about the coral coming bleached.

    Very good idea. I mean it bleached alot if its snow white.

    Yes, definitely feed. Even a more than if it were not beached, if your water quality can handle it. Some studies have shown bleached corals can meet 100% of their energy needs from feeding.

    I would also agree with 2in10 and see about getting a credit for it.

    I think LA accepts calls on the weekend. I would try to call them. If you dont get them I would at least send them email just for documenting purposes in case it does go south & you have to consider replacing.
