Hey guys I was wondering how much bleach to use to kill my lr it's pretty nasty stuff. Thanks
Depends on how much of a rush you are in I suppose.I usually add about a 1/8 cup for a 5 gallon bucket.
Thanks. I have a good bit of rock is there a point where you can use too much? If so what can happen.
Well, sort of, but you'd mostly just be wasting bleach. +1 to 1/8 cup per 5g.
What are you trying to kill on your lr?
muratic acid bath will dissolve organics... i use it to clean my base dry rock and clear out holes...i go strong(5:1) but for your application could go weaker... just a thought
+1 on acid! Depending on how much rock you are doing depends on how much you will need. Acid is low ph, as you clean/ out the rock into it it will start to neutralize, the more acidic it is the more effective it is.
