Black moor fry

    Well in my case it happened fast and unexpected. So i just took out the plants & decoration which had eggs and put them in a separate bucket with aquarium water and a heater. Once the eggs hatched i put everything back in the aquarium except the fry of course.

    Next time if it happens again, once i see that they are about to spawn, i will move the parents to a breeding tank with enough plants for the goldfish to lay eggs on. Once the eggs have been fertilized by the male, then put the parents back in their home;D

    As about the artemia i don't bother separating it ( i assume you mean hatched and unhatched )

    Hey Giannis - for many of us, we believe that a wet hand is a far kinder way to handle fish than a net - so dont worry about that aspect at all
    less chance of damaging the slime coating on a wet hand than with an abrasive netting material.
    looking good those small fish now
