Huum several things to try usually I found it to be nutrient related and lack of water flows over the problem areas Also I had the most issues with this algae when i was using a plenum and or a DSB. No data but I most often found it in areas of high DOC's and acidic conditions and or NO3 levels .. What are the parameters of the tanks water ? Ca and carbonates being the more important measurements I think for this algae issue But as whit any algaes problems its ever a here it is problem it always takes lots of time and differnt treatments to rid the tank f it. It always comes faster then it goes.
