Well, I took the plunge today! According to my book (The Reef Aquarium by Delbeek and Sprung) , these should all be OK for me (the beginner) and the LFS said the same!

I am going for variety in color....I have green star polyps, yellow pagoda (hoping it will open soon!!!!!!)I picked up the reds today (they say reds on these corals are less common so I grabbed em), and the whitish frogspawn.

Any other recommendations for colors? Not ready for SPS tho. It would appear my taste is for LPS's ;D

I would say you made very wise choices. I started with a Frogspawn 2 1/2 years ago and it is still one of my fav corals.
I've fragged my Frogspawn about eight times now and it still has about 18 heads. I got it with 3
