Biocube's Build Thread, Tank teardown 1/6/14

I'm currently dealing with flow issues at the moment, that's why I'm ditching most of my LPS. Iv been placing SPS and birds nest in random places to see how they react. Iv had to increase my mp10 to nearly 90% in RC mode to keep everyone happy. What I find weird are my Zooas are loving the more intense flow.

I plan to ditch tomorrow:
Frogspawg
Hammer
Green Star Polyps (maybe, I heard they stunt SPS growth)
Acans ( they take up a lot of room on my sand bed, I'd rather have a clam there)

 

Keep in mind clams do not want a great deal of flow either! GSP tend to take over and sting SPS.

 

That's why the Acans are going, there's a GREAT spot for a nice clam where the Acans are.

 

Getting rid of acans too!?

 

I know, it's still a thought but there's so little space in my tank. I have really enjoyed LPS but the SPS bug bit me and I'd like to have a SPS dominated tank.

Oh yea! Iv been already watching them like a hawk. They stay between 9.05-9.8 week after week.

 

Well I traded everything in and I got $110.00, not as much as I wanted but theres room now for more SPS and other goodies.

 

I called and ordered some cool Zoas, they were sold out but he still fragged a small amount for me.
