BIO Cube problem

    a 70 watt halide would work wonders but i dont think you could get one in the hood.

    Just watch heat issues... I had a 12gallon nano dx with 2 24 watt bulbs. What a pain. Had to add a sump just to keep the temp down...

    could probably fit some small fans in the hood if you really like to DIY.......

    Would one Metal Halide bulb be better that the stock Bio Cube lighting?

    they also give the ripple effect you find in nature, and you can get more bulb colors like 14000k, and 20000k which are more of a blueish coloration, and you may not need actinics with those bulb colors.
