    Good find! Had I known, I may have gone for the bell shaped MH pendants. with this bike fixture, maintenance would be a piece of cake because of the pulleys!

    Well I saw this picture before and liked the idea but am not too sure how secure it is. I think my hood weighs twice as a bicycle, a lot more are at stake under it too. What if...

    I think it would work if you bolt it on a stud in the ceiling. If you are worried about it, you could put an eyehook off to the side and run a cable to lamp as a safety line. If the mount gives out the fixture might be able to swing out of the way.
