    You want to get an electronic balast for sure.  Don't settle for a magnetic probe or pulse start ballast if at all possible.  Couldn't tell what kind of ballast the IceCap was.

    HQI=brand name of osram bulb that created the double ended MH bulb. And the name stuck for anything dealing with double ended bulb or ballast.

    Haven't heard anything on those ballasts. Great price though, eh? Makes you wonder. Does the vendor have any feedback to share on their actual performance?
