    In terms of lighting? No, not even close.

    What you have now is superior if we're strictly talking lighting.

    Many leds are great but the halide and T5 combo is amazing and always worked. There are so many choices and reasons for choosing lighting but what you have in terms of lighting will grow the heck out of coral, especially with the right bulbs

    Well, it depends.

    Some ppl can't or don't want to afford bulb replacements.

    Some need a chiller, another added expense.

    Some ppl can't deal with the heat.

    Some ppl can't deal with the electrical costs.

    These are all the reasons I want to move to LEDs, currently t5.
