All distributions included, precision formed, high performance, 95% reflective, segmented optics
utilizing Alanod MIRO® 4 specular aluminum warranted for 25 years. Reflector optics are available in a wide
variety of distributions and spacing criteria.

That was taken off the spec sheet from the manufacturers website (Lithonia not Homedepot) Sorry it's an individually formed reflector with 95% of the light pointed straight down made out of aluminum which means it will never rust and if it does corrode its polish-able, but why go through that trouble when it has a 25 year warranty on the reflector

Do you think running more than 4 bulbs I will have bleaching issues? I see many people running 6 bulbs on sps tanks... I think im gonna go with a 50/50 balance of white \ blue/purple/pink

I had bleaching issues in my 75 reef with six and still do with 4. I am considering moving my light to about 20" above the water.

Here have a look at the custom hood and light combo I made

But also another question arose today... I was showing this to a guy at one of my LFS and he said if any SALTwater happens to splash, not evaporated water on to the reflector and drip back into the tank, the aluminum oxide will kill any and all life in the tank is this true?
