tank prior to putting in
prior to adding to tank
Looks like you also could use an RO/DI unit to get pH down. check out the ebay links I posted for hottie
yea i looked into them, but they waste too much water. our city gonna do a 250% increase starting 2005 to 2009 or so.. so gonna slowly go up over time as is. am thinking of buying it from walmart tho.
we are getting a petCo here .. do they sell RO water?
PS.. bumpin your Karma for the help~
Are you living in a house?
most people use the waste water for plants and washing clothes and watering the grass. What state do you live in?
that ebay ro unit for 29 bucks would pay for it's self with one water change even when adding the cost of the waste water.
yea i live in a house, but already pay $200 a month in just water as it is. dont really wantt to collect the water in buckets then put in washer. i live in Washington so we dont water our lawn.. lol
your joking..... all that rain and snow water coming down from the mountains and you pay a $200 water bill? what is the cost per gallon?
what up with that?
hehe well funny thing is i have to pay for storm drain along with the other people on block too.. so the more it rains the more we pay LOLLOLOL small towns man anyway to make a buck.!!! been articles in news paper lately about more increases and houses going up for sale everywhere.
zero amonia , trate and trite still.
also noticed a new polyp on my big LR about 5 inches below original rock
We are so close. good to hear your polyps are showing up.
If you had more corals the cal would drop faster. Don't add any types of additives yet.
May want to add a half cup on vinigar to drop pH... do this slowly if you have a aqua doser drip it into the tank at a couple of drips per second.
getting my 17 gals ready today and will do change on Sunday/Monday
OK keep testing and post the tests please.
