    I've used TurboStart by FritzZyme n all of my saltwater aquariums thus far. And all have cycled within a week.

    You may have been planning on doing this anyways, but could you compare to pure ammonia as well?

    Oh wow.... I better go get some more buckets! LOL. You guys are awesome.

    I'm going to use pure ammonia as the ammonia source, so it is measureable. I have bioballs for the colonizing media.

    I will have digital readouts for the ammonia and nitrite.

    I just need to know once and for all what each of these do. When it's all done and said, I'm going to drop a damsel in each after they appear cycled and see what happens.

    I've always used damsels to fuel ammonia for the bacteria. Never had a death or noticeable damage to the fish. Can't wait to see though.

    I'm using pure ammonia to cycle the tanks, not the damsels.
