Price has definitely dropped. I got a 6"x6" piece covered with polyps for $55.

Thanks, it does seem to be a slow grower. I will see what happens now that it is fully acclimated and in a spot it seems to like better. I had read that they were not fast growers and so far this seems to be the case.

That is awesome, you definitely need to shop to find good prices though.

I agree. You definitely need to keep an eye out and be willing to drive around and pay shipping if you want the best corals for the best prices. I heard the same about the growth. The coral is related to xenia but is a slow grower. The colors are beautiful and I'm trying to get mine to spread onto my overflow.

Neat idea, that would make a pretty cover.

In the first picture the one on the bottom looked like a leaf, I wasn't sure that's what you were referring to. They look like they're doing very well. I have a very bright green Ricordia that looks similar to yours, very nice color! Is the parent in the lower right corner? How did you do the trimming, just cut a chunk off of it?

The parent of the one you thought was a leaf is in the lower right corner and that little one was left when the parent moved to its current position.

The upper one is from one to left just out of the picture. That one came from me removing the dead coral it is attached to from the parent. The parent was attached with a small piece of flesh so i just cut it off so the parent would not be pulled from the weight of the rock.
