    That pretty much what I ended up doing. I stuck to my regular weekly 7 glal0on water changes and added one extra right after the incident. Calcium has been slowly combing down and is now at around 460, from a high of right around or just above 500. I'll start dosing Calcium again this weekend

    In the end - I observed no ill effects to any livestock, and I got my calcium up the level I had been trying to get it up to anyway. so I guess it was a happy accident :)

    Good to hear, just remember higher ca alk mg will get you faster growth however less color and more brown. I like running 420 ca 7.5dkh in carbon dosing system 8dkh in a macro tank and 1280 mg for better coral coloration.
