    Yea ato is nice. But you still have to remember to fill up the top off bucket! Doh!

    Mine didn't work right out of the box. I personally wouldn't use an ATO that uses float switches unless there was a secondary fail safe or the reservoir was small enough where the system could absorb the entire amount with killing the tank. ATOs, heaters and dosing equipment are not good areas to go cheap since they have to potential for big problems when they fail.

    You will like it! I use jbj ato in both my tanks with aqualifter. Nice it has a timer auto off so if float sticks on it won't dump everything in the tank with a slower pump like aqualifter.

    I wouldn't consider the JBJ cheap equipment. It's just on sale right now for a good price.

    The only problem i experienced was matching into a pump that had enough pressure to move the water 20 feet from my RODI collection system.

    Never had a problem once I adjusted the run switch inside the cover

    I use that same aqualifter pump and a float valve to top off. That's it.
