    Haha. I may be getting the sand today. Is there a reason I shouldn't just harvest some beach sand?

    are you thinking wet or dry sand?

    If it was bought, it'd probably be dry just because it's cheaper and will become live. What do you think?

    You don't want the sand to be too small in particle. You can control that when you buy a prepared product. I like a small/medium grain.....most beach sand is like play sand, sugar fine.

    I ended up getting two 10 lb bags of white sugar fine sand from CaribSea and two 10lb bags of aragonite sand from CaribSea. Half is in there at the moment, I'll post pictures later when it's all in and settled.
