    Can't help you on the r.g. I've never owned one, your tank looks fantastic though. That water looks clean clean clean. Very good man nice looking firefish they are very nice behaved fish.

    Thanks guys! I'm looking at adding a couple more hermits and some snails next as I'm starting to see brown algae growth at an alarming rate

    it's probably diatoms.....don't worry too much about it, many times it goes away on its own.

    So I should not add snails/additional hermits?

    Okay, so I was at the pet store today. My firefish is doing fantastic, and the diatom algae really isnt all that bad yet, so I got a real healthy looking Royal Gramma. By the looks of him, he's pretty young, maybe 1 1/2 inches long. I acclimated him and he's doing really well. He seems to love my live rock, finding little cave structures I didn't even know were there. He's a neat little fish. I plan to pick up some more members for my CUC next weekend. Hang on while I upload a picture

    Oh and I have not seen any conflict whatsoever between him and my firefish :D
