    Haha, well there really isn't any secret, I use tap water. Water changes and top offs are just tap water with conditioner. But I do about a five gallon water (there is probably 12 to 13 gallons total in the 10 gallon system) change once a week and have never had an algae problem. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, but everything seems to be thriving so far. The pico tank, I do 30% water change every day using water from the 10 gallon.

    Thanks Ice, so what size nano are you going to start up?? Hehe. I'm using a 10W 50/50 PC. Maybe you'll start up a pico?? :D
