    You don't need another power bar for either LEDs or for the vortechs on an apex. They can be fully controlled by the VDM and wxm without bein on a power bar. Just plug them into regular outlets. Oh and apex absolutely can control pwm.

    I only have a single EB8 on my 190 reef; my vortechs and LED drivers are not plugged into it since they don't need to be.

    Makes sense, but I think i'll keep them plugged in. Just another level of safety. If there's some wireless issue, you could always shut the outlet off.
