    Am I missing something!

    Is it linned with gold? $500 for a light fixture that has no lights or ballast.

    You can buy a cheap Oddysea fixture and buy new bulbs and balast for $500.

    Whats so special about this fixture?

    i was thinking the same thing? at a price of almost $2000 i coud set up an entire tank fully stocked. not trying to bash the product would just like to get info on why its so much and how it compares to say the odyssea lights or even aquaticlife t5ho fixtures?

    i dont see how you could drop the price that much and still make any profit whatsoever, or not lose money?!

    i would never pay two thousand dollars for a light, except if it washed my car.
