AquaMaxx's BioMaxx is the latest in a string of reactors following the pellet mania of late. The BioMaxx stands out for nice A-class thick acrylic and utilizes a 'fluidizing plate' to keep those pellets spinning as you can see in the photos. This reactor comes with an adapter for 3/4" hose or you can hard plumb with 1/2" MPT pipe. A flow rate of 200-300 GPH is recommended for the standard model and 300-400 GPH for the XL version. There is an optional hang-on adapter as well. Available now. Specs below.

Can't beat a biopellet reactor for that price. As soon as a seller has it on amazon I am buying it.

    I agree, great price.

Why not buy it from Marine Depot, or the like?

No doubt, I think he said amazon though :p Marinedpot does sell stuff on Amazon if that's actually what he meant... Not sure why you wouldn't just buy on MD though, but must have a reason. Maybe meant used? idk...

Ugh... I was thinking Amazon, but typed Ebay :( Stupid brain failed me

News to me about MD, learn something everyday. I tend not to buy my stuff from typical hobby channels any longer so I am not on Amazon looking for aquarium stuff.

Amazon does have aquamaxx products through its sellers. I also have a GC for amazon. Why pay more now when I can wait a little longer and save a lot of money when it hits amazon through MD/Petstore?

Also out of stock for 3-6 months on MD.
