API test kit

    I'm currently treating my FOWLR with cuprimine. I also bought a API copper test kit due to the fact my red sea kit did not work correctly... When I test the copper with the red sea kit I get a light blue color but the red sea kit color chart reads from green- purple... So i dunno there...I noticed the API kit only reads up to 4.0. Unfort I am limited to these tests as my LFS don't have any others in stock.. Any ideas on what I should do..

    If you're getting readings that are off the scale you can try diluting the test sample with ro/di water.

    To do this try using a sample that's half ro/di and half tank water, then multiply the result you get from the test kit by 2.
