Anyone use Seachem testers

    I needed to verify my alk, I wanted to see if my testers were wrong and the only available kit besides API was the Seachem multi ph/alkalinity kit...not a store had salifert in stock!

    I did the test but the results are different. All my other testers said my alk was 6-7 this one is 4.5...if I'm reading it right.

    These are the instructions for results.

    3. Each drop is equal to 0.5 meq/L. The number of drops to get to yellow divided by 2 is the total alkalinity

    I had 9 drops which means 4.5

    Anyone use this kit? I just want to verify I'm understanding the results properly as all the kits are different.
