Ok update on the price here. Most places are 4.00 to 4.34 but at a few spots its 4.84. Holy cow they are digging deep into the pockets now.

i put around 300 miles on my car every week, with the tweak and some skillful driving, i was able to get around 35 on highway and 25 in city, my gas here is 3.59 on average. they drove the price up using Ike as the cover up, there are way you can track the whole sale price for gasoline somewhere online. just have to dig

Gas prices will be going down soon, around 3-6 weeks you will see it start to drop and bottom out just under $3 a gallon. Ike didnt do nowhere near as much as they thought it would, and refineries are coming back online and the price of oil futures as of a little while ago was $96 a barrel, which that right there should put gas at $3 a gallon or close to it, but the price at the pump takes longer to go down. If the feds actually do something about drilling off shore, you will see it drop below $2 a gallon again, but who knows if they will....

You can thank OPEC for the high gas prices not the corporate fat cats...

I just paid $4.99 a gallon for regular in Wrens, GA about 3 hours ago...and that's only because they were the only ones left with gas. Every station I passed had bags over their nozzles...:-/:(
