Anyone ever tried drilling a tempered tank?

    I think it will shatter, too ...... but .....

    What if you applied window tint film to it before drilling?
    As the very least, I think it would hold it together instead of making a mess.

    ... just thinking outside the box ....

    Agreed...I've seen tempered glass shatter...it depends on the amount of temper, but sometimes it's not so much a shatter as it is an explosion...tempered glass can have a lot of tension in it, so when you release that tension it doesn't always just shatter and fall to the ground...you run the risk of getting cut up.
