I've heard some locals here on the forums talk about a lfs in boca, not sure of the name though.
The Barrier Reef. 1921 NW 2nd Ave.(Boca Raton Blvd) Boca Raton 33432
Phone number is (561)368-1970. I have been going there for 25 years.Ask for Brad or John as they are very knowledgeable. Tell them Vinny sent you.
Sounds good, I think I'm going to head that way today
Let me know if you like the Boca store I like in Royal Palm Beach, same problem. Can't seem to find any Lfs. I do travel to fish emporium (big al's tamarac). Imo hit or miss.
Does big ALs or barrier reef buy or at least take fish? Forgot to ask.
Got a bicolor angel that was a coral nipper, he is in my qt tank but I'd like to sell
As far as Barrier goes I don't think they will buy him. They would probably take him from you though if you can't find a good home for him. I am goin there tomorrow so I will ask.
I purchased a coral angel from Big Al's (fish emporium), three weeks later started nipping my corals. I called them and was told to bring it in and they would work with me. Got there and manager told me their policy was they would not take fish back. He was a pretty nice guy. He told me since someone over the phone gave me bad information he would help me out. He took the fish and gave me full credit for it. He also was very helpful and knowledgable about fish compatibility. But their policy is not to take fish back!!
