Any Apex setup/VDM tips?

    Is the Apex unit suppose to "hiss" when plugged in? I am about 1 foot away and I hear it coming from the left side of the unit.

    GRRR!!! My screen came damaged too.. I am having a really hard time just getting into the Apex unit via Intranet.

    I was not able to see it so I did a full restore and now I can see it but am not able to access it via Web browser.

    I have been trying to call neptune for the pas hour but its all busy tone.

    Oh man, this blows!! There shouldnt be no noise. Cant you return it?? Where did you get it from? Im sorry nonetheless.

    I was so pumped to get this thing running and now I can't even log into it.

    Id stop messing with it. I got mine from TB Aquatics as well. Just talk to Brian, or whoever, they should take care of this issue asap.

    I went through 2 times of sending mine back before I got it working right... But, now that it does work right. I couldn't live without it.

    It's a pita to get anyone on the phone at neptune, but when you do they have EXCELLENT customer service. Curt will make it right at neptune.

    Try using the IP to login if you haven't changed your port. if you have then you have to put http://ipaddress:port#

    replace with proper numbers obviously.

    I called Neptune and they are taking care of it.


    Also Neptune was able to get my unit online!! So now I am logged in and lost! :)

    sorry about your problem. that stinks,
    but neptune has great customer service. they helped me when i had a problem programing a (pinpoint) ph probe which corrupted the system. i now have a neptune ph probe.

    Good news!!!

    Everything is up and running! Got my domain server up and made my VDM cable.

    Now I'm playing with the EB8 and turning my lamp on and off via the internet.. Must say it never gets old.


    On Tue/Wed I will start to program my Apex and hope for the best.
