if you are seeing a 2ppm drop over three days then thats normal. personally I dose daily to keep it at 11. I agree less is more but youre still letting your system swing by letting it drop for three days then correcting....but wait for someone else input about this as im far from being a dosing master

 

Well you have been in the hobby longer than I, so your input doesn't fall on deaf ears bro. I thank all you guys for always helping me. And I truly agree with you as well, 2ppm drop is to much. That said I rather under dose in the begging than over dose and have to change water. I hope this is the correct approach. Stability is what I'm after but I don't want to kill/hurt things in the process.

I understand and agree with you, "better safe than sorry" but I would look into correcting that swing daily rather than have it build up over three days....if you are sure your level drops by 2 ppm every 3 days you should be able to supplement a daily dose with little to no risk....
