    what anemone can i get for my 29 gallon clown tank? the only livestock is 2 clowns a yellowhead jawfish and some snails.

    i wont be getting one for a few months i started the tank in april. i have a 2 bulb pc fixture. 1 10000k and 1 50/50 bulb.

    Power Compacts arent enough for a anemone. They need t5 or metal halide to thrive.

    True. but I have seen bta and sebaes survive. The bta's were kinda high.

    It might live, but it won't thrive.
    Pc doesn't have enough par that nems require. They need more intense lighting.

    I agree.. On my 1st 29gal I had an anemone with PC. That poor thing kept of moving to get it's proper lighting, to the point is got sucked into my filter intake & died. I was lucky it didn't take out my whole tank when it died. I didn't get another one until I had proper lighting.

    He could go with LEDs as well..
