    You planned to have 4 tangs in a 90gal that's only a few months old? Theoretically, unless there is ammonia in your water source, a 50% water change should bring the ammonia down to .2 for your new arrival.

    The new 90 gal is a few months old but the 55 was up for four years before the switch. Saved everything in the move. Yes I'm hoping to house four tangs.

    ammonia alone w/out nitrates sounds fishy your parems should be off a little not just amm.
