    Cool bulbs but I'm sure they can't touch the spectrum or par like an ATI bulb.

    Euroquatics' parent company is Gavita: who has long been making high-end lighting for the horticulture industry. They are also the company that introduced plasma lighting to the aquarium hobbyists. Gavita is extremely good at making lighting that works well in the horticulture industry and we are expecting Euroquatics to do the same for the aquarium industry.
    There are always trade offs from one technology to another. From what we're told, the Par and Spectrum are both very close to T5 bulbs. If this can be achieved with 40% less power usage, less heat and 5-10X longer usable life, then E5's may make very a strong case for itself.
    We have just received a few samples ourselves and will be testing them to see how they perform :)

    That's awesome if the par is comparable, especially at that low of energy consumption. Plug and play is nice too.
