    they didnt tell me anything. they also told me it was ok to get the seahorse i didnt think i could get one.
    i agree i should have done a lot more research.
    what can i buy to test these things?

    I would suggest changing LFS, and then trying to stabalize your tank while you research. Many of these guys are very smart people and can help you through this.. gl

    i had no idea. which ones should i get rid of and which types of corals can i have?

    they sell test kits at fish stores and if you can't find them near you they sell them online at various sites.
    you definitely can't have a blue tang in a 14 gallon, these fish swim over 25 miles a day in the wild not to mention full grown it is a foot long.
    don't feel bad your not the first on thats been talked into buying something in appropiate for there tank, a bunch lfs don't see fish when looking in a tank they just see $$$ swiming around. and if they sell you a 50 dollars fish and it dies all the better becuase they hope you might try that fish a couple more times. so it is important to research anything before buying something. impulse and uneducated buys are a disease in this hobby.

    for us to recommend corals we need to know your lighting setup, is it the stock setup that comes with the biocube

    first things first, test your parameters. then explain your lights, filter system, and so on.
