    ok, I did a 5 gallon water change with RO/DI water.

    Now I'm down to 1.0265. I'm thinking on just leaving it here. Thoughts?

    ok, just ran the tests...

    Alk 8.1 dKH
    Mag 1400 ppm
    Cal 505 ppm

    Calcium still is a bit high still?

    Your numbers are fine now :) No need to change anything at all my friend. Glad you are now able to accurately measure salinity (well actually specific gravity, but I digress) :)

    Leave it alone. Nothing wrong with 500cal. It won't hurt anything at all. I would shoot to maintain the exact numbers you have. If calcium fell a bit, I wouldn't try to push it back up until I was below 450. But if it stays at 500 it's just as good.
