algea? maybe?

    just wondering what would be the best thing to remove algea and things from the glass? because i have this big white/gray line...well its about 1" tall... that goes around the whole tanks... i know its not algea but i was just wondering how to get rid of it and with what? thanks

    A razor blade works, but can scratch the tank. I'd try a credit card first, as that won't scratch the tank and can get almost anything off the glass.

    ok and currently i do not have a camera >.< i think its the evaporation of the saltwater.

    yeah well whatever it was it didnt come off with the credit card so i used a razor and its all good now ;D

    I would say it was calcium carbonate residue then. Good call 2in10!
