    I have what looks like short green hair algea it is thicker and shorter with brown tip my tank is 2 weeks old is this normal and what kind of animal should I buy to get rode of it

    Sounds normal to me, you will get a lot of different algae when a tank is young. If you haven't already check out reefcleaners.org for a clean up crew.
