Your water is lacking in Carbonates and maybe even calcium from the looks of it ? I'd dare say your DKH is 6 to 8 maybe ? how often do you test it ? long with the calcium ? One or the other or both are very low I'd guess carbonates more so .
yes my calcium is low
it was 125 last 2 weeks ago. I got it up to 225 last time i checked which was last week. I am still adding calcium but I have to go to the LFS to get it checked DRSFS did not send me the color card for my calcium test
RESULTS FOR EVERYTHING I AM ABLE TO TEST FOR
PH about 8.3
Phosphate .25 or 0 I cant tell
which calcium test do you have???? If it is api you just have to do it till it turns blue
it didnt come with the color card
is it an api kit???
What size tank is it and what do you use to does ? I can tell you really close as to how much to dose to get you back to proper levels , You water is way off and acidic thats what is causing the lime green algae coating You may also want to consider carbon . Or if you are running carbon a change and use more carbon per change.
my tank is 12 gallons
I am dosing about 1/4 a capful of seachem calcium a day
I do not run carbon
yes it is
