    There are different species of birdsnest which differ quite a bit from each other (Seriatopora guttatus vs S. hystrix), but I'm rather confident those are the same.

    Evolved is right, your sps looks "okay" but it does also look stressed. Flow is. HUGE player to PE with this coral.

    Algae are known to suck oxygen from the water..which will eventually lead to the difficulties in breathing of your fish..so get rid of them as soon as you can.

    I think you have this backwards; photosynthesis produces oxygen, not uses it :confused:

    :confused: Incorrect. Algae doesn't consume oxygen at all... Think photosynthesis.

    Okay, I saw this when I woke up and was really confused. I thought all plant life made oxygen.
