    I have read about the concept in several magazines
    one being popular science
    I think they have had articles on it a couple times
    seems like a good idea to me

    Having been involved in the ethanol industry, I can tell you that algae has been looked at and is currently being used to create ethanol from it. I think there won't be issues like there are with making ethanol from corn. As a matter of fact, more ethanol can be made from the same amount of algae compared to corn.

    To bad that they wont give the secret out and maybe it would cure algea problems in our tanks also haha i know far fetch chance of that.

    But yes it sounds like a very good idea and i would also buy it if its cheaper which it should be right being that it reproduces so fast.

    If the secret gets out on how to turn Algae into fuel.... I'm upgrading to a reef 30,000gal tank and have it pay for itself! :)
