    Hello again!

Iv'e been doing some reading on greenwater culturing in Joyce Wilkerson's book Clownfishes, I'm interested in trying to culture some greenwater. I see you can purchase food for algae on the net...but with all of the nitrate possibilities in our fishtanks we alread have...isn't there a way to get the food for the algae without having to spend money to get it. (as if this isnt costy enough already right? hehe ). Anyways, I wonder if any have read-about/tried to create your own brew to feed microalgae?

Interesting.....I guess are you asking is there some way to use our tank water to get algae food? If so, I am not sure how you would extract it...:)

    If that is your question...

Let us know how you make out! I have been interested in one of those myself but am just too lazy to start that project LOL!
