    I added the caulerpa to help with nitrites
    Algae on the sand can it just be turned over or do I need to syphon it away?

    What I did a couple days ago was take my finger and literally stir up the sand while I siphoned out the gunk that came up into the water column.

    what type of algae is it i suggest snails over hermits they seem to do more damage to algae
